Collection: Alta Estudio

A collection of tableware and home décor objects. Exploring new ways of using this type of craft, made by different artisan communities across Colombia. Each pattern is inspired by the insects of the Putumayo jungle and the highlands of Risaralda.

Hand-carved in local woods by Jaime, who works with fallen trees from his territory, then Lis and Rosalva place each chaquira bead one by one to create the pattern. Some pieces in this collection contain more than 60,000 beads, crafted by artisans from the Kamentza Community of Putumayo.
